As a six-year old when these vicious murders occurred, I don’t remember the media coverage nor the fear that was implanted into parents hearts for their students in Gainesville. By the number of books, TV shows, movies, etc. I am not the only person who finds serial killers intriguing. Perhaps it’s gruesome, but so many are charismatic and driven by unusual reasons. The details of Danny Rollings and the Gainsville murders are extremely disturbing. I felt fear and often had the hair on the back of my neck stand up while reading this book. The details are clear and crisp, giving you a deeper insight than what was shared with the public directly after the killings and during the trial. JT Hunter draws you in with the facts woven into a story — that is disturbingly true. If you enjoy learning more about true crime, I recommend learning about how Danny Rollings became A Monster of All Time! I received a copy of the book for reviewing purposes. All opinions are my own.
